We booked here as it had hard standing , showers and electricity. Great to be able to park just in front of the grass when it is wet and possible soft ground.. Two pubs within walking distance and access to quiet country lanes for cycling. What more could you ask for? It was cold so we stayed indoors, there is a bit of noise from the A 34, but we didn’t notice it in March. Good value. - C
A short spring break to ease ourselves into the camping season. We're on a mission to stay in every English county and chose a great site for our stay in Oxfordshire. The pitch was extremely wet underfoot which was nobody's fault. We are seasoned campers so it wasn't a problem. We did see the owners tow a campervan off the grass pitch area with a tractor which was reassuring to see. We took electricity and water on the pitch which made things much easier. The weather was reasonable, again out of the hands of the owners. Onto the facilities, we found the showers, toilets and washing up facilities most excellent, in fact the wash up water was almost too hot!!! We called the owners to confirm our arrival and were greeted cheerfully. We had no further contact with them but were confident they would be available if we needed anything. Overall, a lovely 4 night stay, we would definitely recommend the site to anyone considering it...thanks again...Phil Robinson and Helen Edwards... - Phil Robinson
